  Review: This is the fourth installment of the Take Fingz series by DJ Katch, the renowned Australian turntablist and producer active since the late 90s. Katch has effortlessly built up a characteristically "furtive" sound; something in his choice of samples, centring on streetwise funk and jazz, plus distinctive mixing of iconic verses from throughout hip-hop history, make for a feeling of being watched by undercover cops and/or of much being at stake. 'Give Me The Message' comes as a funky mashup of Grandmaster Flash's classic and a, plus a stripped-down alternate version on the B, which is scratchier and choppier. Up to you which you play, Mx. DJ.

  The next instalment from the TakeFingz label, this one is a journey into the sounds of blaxploitation theatre, Katch decided to split this classic hip hop track from the 80s and lace it with a groove that gives a feel of when the hero drives off into the sunset and the credits are rolling, but still funky enough for the dance floor.
  
  Katch split the track to fit both sides (Scene A & B )and has extended some funky loop parts at the end of side A and the beginning of side B, so you can juggle the beat or choose your own adventure when mixing.
